What is the Light Inside Technique (LIT)?

“Light inside” refers to feeling light in mind, body and emotions, and not weighed down by the heaviness of depression, anger and worry. It refers to the sense of peace, freedom, comfort and ease that occurs when we are free of negative thoughts and emotions about ourselves, others and the world in general. In that lightness of a settled mind and emotions, we can find greater peace, love, inspiration, creativity and wisdom. After practicing LIT, we begin to focus less on problems and stress, and more on progress and positivity. LIT is about turning the negative into positive.

About Carl Sheusi (LIT Founder).

I was once a mental health therapist for adolescents and families, then a caregiver for adults with disabilities, and a massage therapist. I recieved certification in Ayurveda (India’s holistic health system) after completing a three year, 1,000 hour certification course through Swami Sadashiva Tirtha’s Ayurveda Holistic Center in New York. I also practiced different kinds of meditation since my late teens, and later completed Yoga Teacher Training. I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from Virginia Commonweatlh University, and a Master’s degree in Psychology from Maharishi International University (then called Maharishi University of Management).
